Lee Bates at Camp Osborn

Members of Cordele Boy Scout Troop 270 along with Mrs. Bates helped plant five trees at Camp Osborn in honor of a former Lodge Advisor, the late Lee Bates. The tree planting was held on Saturday, December 18, 2021. Four of the trees were planted up on the ridge in an area that has been devoid of trees since two tornadoes devastated the camp almost five years ago. A fifth tree was placed on the hill above the Eagle Chapel.
