1971 Tap Out

At Camp Osborn

(Photos provided by P. T. Braun)

At this time the tap outs were held at the blue hole.  Once a person was tapped out (by being hit over the shoulder with an arrow) they were taken across the blue hole in a canoe.  When all the candidates were collected across the blue hole the were walked off the back way to collect information.

The photographer was standing where the audience was seated which was between the pool and the Blue Hole looking across the Blue Hole to the where the candidates were taken to be marched off into the woods.
