Blue Book X1a on Neckerchief

 

The X1a and X1c are known to have been issued on a blue neckerchief with red piping.  Most likely the X1b was also issued on a neckerchief.

 

The neckerchief was designed by Henry Helton, whose mother bought the material
 and piping and the Albany High School home economics class made the first neckerchiefs. Each brother got a neckerchief with the patch on it.
