during the 1970s lodge chiefs served from July to the next June.
We know from an Owl Hoot that Ben Horton's term started on January 1,
1987. Therefore, it seems that the change in dates of the lodge
chief's term occurred sometime in the
early 1980s; and Chehaw Council, Sylvester Local,

However, even this does not help with exact years as most Chiefs were not on a calendar years basis at this time; therefore, I took the Chiefs that I knew were in office of January 1st of the year from sources such as "The Owl Hoot" and inserted them and then fit the other Chiefs from the "Lodge Card" in as seem appropirate.
